Raising awareness on health impacts of air pollution among medical practitioners, health care professionals and patients
Climate and Health Air Monitoring Project (CHAMP) project works with H.E.L.P network members with an objective to raise awareness on air pollution and its health impacts among medical practitioners, healthcare professionals and patients. Hospitals that have signed up for CHAMP displays air quality data, health advisory and IEC materials on health impacts of air pollution on TV monitors in waiting rooms. 12 H.E.L.P members are presently displaying air quality data. H.E.L.P also organises training sessions in member hospital’s premises for the benefit of their staff and patients.
